This is a space where the residents of the city tell the Story of Leicester. Some stories come from youth engagement projects, some by links to locally run websites or even through artworks created by local artists.
Local histories are told as part of an ongoing project run by Leicester City Arts & Museums Service; we work with local groups to tell the history of the area the group live in. We mostly, but not always, work with young people to help create these websites. They take a look at the events that helped shape the different areas of the City; comparing how people lived in the past to how we live now.
