Museums in Libraries
Leicester Arts & Museums are working in collaboration with Leicester Libraries to bring museum objects into local libraries around Leicester.
Here you can discover in which local libraries you can find museum objects.
Highfields Library - you can see objects loaned by members of the public that commemorate the 100 year anniversary of World War I. The 'Leicester Remembers the Great War' exhibition is currently on at the library, you can also view an online version here:

New Parks Library - you can see museum objects, local residents objects and craft items that are related to the theme of 'Life & Home - From the Past to Today'. The Eco-Craft group worked with Museums Outreach to fill the display case with interesting things relating to New Parks.

St Barnabas Library - Museums Outreach worked closely with residents to create a display with the theme of 'Faith in the Local Community'. The objects on show represent the many different beliefs that are held by the residents of the area.

This is an ongoing project; over time the themes and objects in the cases will change so make sure you visit the libraries regularly to see different displays.
