Rugby World Cup 2015

In 2015 Leicester hosted part of the Rugby World Cup and as part of this occasion the Leicester Literary and Philosophical Society in partnership with Leicester Arts & Museums Service held an exhibition exploring the history of Rugby in the city, the memories people had of the game and its impact on their lives. This project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The film below was at the core of the exhibition and is an exploration of people’s memories from the oral histories recorded as well as their collections.
